Beatrix Krause, PhD
Dr. Beatrix Krause, PhD studies the effects of various types of intervention on the brain and cognition, including non-invasive electrical brain stimulation, pharmacological treatment, and mind-body interventions (yoga, breathing techniques, meditation and tai chi).
Her recent focus has been on aging populations and she is currently leading the Human Connectome Aging Project 2.0 and a Centenarian study with Dr Susan Bookheimer, PhD at UCLA. In addition, she is pursuing research on physical therapy using the movement of the horse.
